FLYFISHING, South Africa's first dedicated magazine for flyfishers, was established in 1987. Whether you cast your fly for freshwater or saltwater species, the Africa’s original FLYFISHING magazine has something for everyone. It’s the “who – what – where – when – how” of flyfishing in Southern Africa, East and West Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands. FLYFISHING's content covers all aspects of the sport, including tackle selection (rods, reels, lines, flies, clothing, footwear, storage, ancillary equipment), what's new on the tackle front, fishing tips, local and international venues and lodge reviews, innovations in equipment and tackle, the latest fishing trends, flyfishing boats and boating, fly-tying, and so on, covering all aspects of the sport. FLYFISHING is also highly regarded in official circles, including the Federation of South African Flyfishers (FOSAF) which uses this magazine as its mouthpiece. FLYFISHING carries a wide, varied and well-supported mix of advertising from across the market spectrum and has proved itself in the marketplace during its more than 26 years on the shelves.
