Why am I receiving duplicate issues?

Two copies of the same magazine usually means two subscriptions in the publisher's records. Tell us and we merge them so nothing is wasted.

Two copies of the same issue almost always means the publisher has two subscriptions on file for you. We can have them merged so your terms are combined and nothing is wasted.

How it happens

  • You renewed (with us or elsewhere) with a slightly different name or address than the one on your label, so the publisher created a second subscription instead of extending the first.
  • You ordered as a new subscriber while a subscription was still running.
  • Someone gave you a gift subscription to a magazine you already receive.

What to do

Contact Customer Care with your order number and the name and address printed on each of the two labels. We ask the publisher to merge the two subscriptions into one and combine the terms, so nothing you paid for is wasted.

Renewals do not cause duplicates

A DiscountLock renewal uses the same name and address as your original order, so the publisher extends your subscription rather than starting a second one, even when it processes before the date on your label.
